The L3Harris Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) is seeking a self-motivated, high-energy individual to join our team as an Airworthiness Project Lead. This position requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively within a team. This position reports to the Manager of the Airworthiness Project Lead group. Essential Functions: Collaborate on multi-functional and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve company and customer goals. Participate in proposal and bid development, ensuring sound airworthiness strategies and accurate budgetary estimates. Create and review FAA and Military project certification plans and compliance reports. Track and report certification project status and budgets. Coordinate with company engineers on certification practices, concepts, and approaches to demonstrate compliance with FAA regulations and military airworthiness criteria. Communicate effectively throughout the organization, including with leadership, customers, and vendors. Participate in process improvement initiatives and offer suggestions to enhance certification process efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience, OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience, OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Strong project management skills related to certification processes and procedures. Preferred Additional Skills: Knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 23 and 25 regulations Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516 criteria Existing DoD SECRET Security Clearance Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Previous experience with leading certification teams L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
