The ideal candidate will bring a creative vision, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit to help foster a vibrant local music scene and contribute to the development of a new record label. Deliverables Produce and engineer high-quality tracks for the founder’s album, ensuring professional sound and creative direction. Collaborate on songwriting, arrangement, and instrumentation, utilizing proficiency in piano, guitar, bass, and drums. Set up, operate, and maintain studio equipment for optimal recording and mixing sessions. Participate in in-person sessions at the home studio in Carmel, IN, with flexibility for future client projects. Provide creative input and technical guidance throughout the production process. Requirements Proven experience as a music producer and engineer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Advanced proficiency in piano, guitar, bass, and drums. Expertise in audio engineering, mixing, and mastering using industry-standard DAWs and studio equipment. Willingness and ability to travel to and work on-site at the Carmel, IN home studio. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for building a creative community. Professional, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Prior experience working with independent artists or in a startup music environment is a plus.
