Corteva Agriscience is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to support our Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team within the Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing industry. In this role, you will help ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our production and research facilities that enable farmers around the world to grow more sustainably. You will work on a wide range of industrial electrical and control systems, directly supporting Corteva’s mission to deliver innovative seed technologies, crop protection solutions, and digital services that advance global food security. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and power distribution systems serving agricultural processing, storage, and support operations. You will diagnose and repair issues on motors, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, lighting, control panels, and instrumentation, using electrical schematics, blueprints, and test equipment to quickly identify root causes and restore equipment to service. You will execute both corrective and preventive maintenance, update records in the computerized maintenance management system, and provide feedback that supports continuous improvement of our maintenance strategies. Working closely with engineering, operations, and asset management teams, you will support automation and control systems, including PLC-based equipment and field devices used in seed processing, formulation, and related agricultural processes. You will assist with commissioning new equipment, implementing upgrades that improve reliability and energy efficiency, and helping to standardize electrical practices across the site. Safety is fundamental to this position. You will rigorously follow and reinforce electrical and industrial safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, arc flash standards, and NFPA 70E requirements. You will participate in hazard assessments, job safety analyses, and incident investigations as needed, promoting a strong safety culture. You may be required to work in field and plant environments that include heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions, and to respond to occasional after-hours calls to support critical operations.
