The emergency medicine physician will provide comprehensive emergency medical care during 12-hour day and night shifts managing approximately 3 patients per hour with APP support. The clinician will utilize the Meditech Expanse EMR system for all documentation and patient management while working in an emergency department setting with no call requirements. Board certification through ABEM is mandatory along with prescriptive authority to ensure quality patient care delivery. The position involves evaluating and treating diverse emergency presentations, coordinating care with nursing staff and support personnel, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records during all assigned shifts.
