ProSidian Seeks a CAD Intern | Engineering for Program Support on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Technical Element located CONUS - Charlotte, NC Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting urban planning, city infrastructure, and public works projects through technical expertise in design, drafting, and engineering support services in alignment with the City of Charlotte (COC) and Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA) initiatives.

Seeking CAD Intern candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as COC. This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Engineering Functional Area Professional - CAD Design Support Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a CAD Design Support (Senior Level Civil Engineering Aide) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as City of Charlotte (COC) | Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA) Generally Located In CONUS - Charlotte, NC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - CAD Intern | Engineering

• Prepare basic CAD drawings.
• Update design revisions.
• Maintain drawing files and libraries.
• Assist in plotting and printing drawings.
• Learn and apply design standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CAD software.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Enrolled in drafting or engineering program.

Skills Required

• AutoCAD, file management.

Competencies Required

• Attention to detail, willingness to learn.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Supports drafting for multiple project types.
• Gains exposure to BIM systems.
