FZ is looking for an Assistant Project Manager for the Charlotte, NC office. This role is responsible for helping Project Managers and Account Managers with activities that improve financial position, mitigate risk, and support the overall direction of projects assigned to them. This role collaborates heavily with Project Managers, Account Manager, Field Operations, Purchasing, and Leadership to contribute to successful FZ projects.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management OR 2+ years of experience in electrical construction management and installation. Electrical experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience with projects valued at or above $750,000.
  • Prior experience working directly with customers.
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint.
  • Strong planning, organizing, delegation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled at leading teams (formally or informally) and influencing others, including conflict management skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally to project sites as needed.
