The Arborist role involves supporting ground crew operations with a focus on brush cleanup, equipment handling, and assisting in residential and commercial tree care projects. The successful candidate will be part of a team reporting to a lead arborist, working primarily on local job sites including storm cleanup and land maintenance. Basic to intermediate bucket truck operation skills are important, alongside a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground work and brush cleanup on job sites
• Handle and maintain equipment and tools
• Operate bucket trucks at basic to intermediate levels
• Assist in setting up job sites and ensure safety compliance
• Load and unload materials efficiently
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain safety standards
• Support team members and communicate effectively in the field

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in arboriculture
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bucket truck operation skills
• Experience in tree climbing and chainsaw operation
• Strong understanding of safety procedures
• Physical stamina for demanding outdoor work
• Equipment maintenance capabilities
• Teamwork and communication skills
